Marineford was good in my opinion because of the foreshadowing, and hype that constantly lead to the great war. Not only were the touching scenes really really touching for me, each high level pirate of Whitebeard's crew was introduced in such a way that made it so epic, with each crew member and alliance members showing their skills in the most epic way. Yeah, we were about 60 episodes behind japan in 2010. Then they stopped synchronising for 5 years. Last year we got from episode 400 to the end of Impel Down, and now to the end of the Marineford arc. I hope they keep this 'about 50 episodes every 6 month', because the german dub is pretty good.

The most hyped arc is MF? First time I'm ever hearing about it Well you could always read the manga it'll be lot faster and continue watching the anime on and off so you won't be overwhelmed with the amount of episodes. Also forget about Dressrosa have you even finished FI and PH? If you think Dressrosa is long then I have some bad news for ya. Well reading the manga is definitely better after the timeskip and I stopped watching the anime a long time ago around the FI arc because the quality of the anime dropped big time for me and I couldn't bare it anymore. Well whatever you decide to do good luck.
